For developing economies, adequate utility services continue to be a critical factor in promoting economic growth. To ensure delivery of these services now and in the future, governments require eﬀective techniques to manage their business operations, including interaction with regulatory authorities.
This course reviews current topics in management that are of direct relevance to the eﬀicient administration of utilities. Participants receive a set of tools, learn techniques, and discover models to better manage both privately owned and state-owned utilities. Participants will also acquire the conceptual basis and skills to work within economically regulated environments.
