The Certified Public-Private Partnership Professional (CP3P) program is a credential that demonstrates that your abilities align with international PPP best practices.
An initiative led by five multilateral development banks (ADB, EBRD, IDB, IsDB, and WBG), the program is comprised of three exams—a Foundation exam and two Practitioner-level exams. The Foundation exam is a prerequisite for the higher-level Preparation and Execution Stage exams. Successful candidates for each exam are awarded a certificate and a digital badge.
The Foundation certification is recommended for individuals involved in PPP projects who require a basic working knowledge of the key principles of the PPP process and terminology. The Foundation exam tests whether a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of chapter one of the PPP Guide to act as an informed team member of a PPP project.
IP3’s provision of the CP3P Foundation Certification Preparation course is designed to ensure knowledge retention of the PPP Guide’s chapter uniquely and innovatively. Through tests utilizing adaptive learning principles, candidates will understand the basic framework of PPP projects, including an introduction to PPP procurement, project structuring, and project finance.
Unlike CP3P prep courses from other providers, IP3 goes beyond memorization to deliver a program that ensures each participant has a firm understanding of the concepts covered in the Foundation Exam. Quizzes administered throughout the course—and practice exams to sharpen your knowledge—incorporate adaptive learning, allowing you to master the content you struggle with most. The result is a truly comprehensive understanding of the PPP Guide’s first chapter.
The CP3P Foundation exam is a timed online 40-minute closed book test comprised of 50 multiple choice questions covering the topics learned in the prep course. Upon passing the exam, participants will be ready to continue their studies to achieve the CP3P Preparation Stage Certification.
Through successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
