Public-Private Partnership Modeling for Highways, Roads, and Bridges (December 3, 2012 - December 14, 2012)

Course Description

Worldwide every year billions of dollars of investment is required in highways, roads, and bridges. Without a cost-effective road network, moving goods/products becomes prohibitively expensive and time consuming, tourism suffers, and a country's competitiveness is reduced. Unfortunately, the amount of financing and technical skills needed to provide "world class" highways, roads, and bridges is simply not within the means of most public sector agency budgets.

To address these issues, IP3's course on Public- Private Partnership Modeling for Highways, Roads, and Bridges will teach participants the requisite skills to be able to identify, structure, procure, finance, negotiate, and monitor transport public-private partnerships. Through presentations and case studies led by expert instructors, site visits, and simulation exercises, participants are expected to apply the knowledge learned and create a special PPP Transportation Action Plan for their own agency.

IP3’s team of training experts offers practical experience with top presentation skills. Participants who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

By the end of the course participants will have achieved the learning outcomes provided below.
