Public Sector Management, Governance & Fiscal Sustainability Techniques (December 3, 2012 - December 14, 2012)

Course Description

The past five years has seen unprecedented changes as global financial and economic upheaval has affected every government and its citizenry. The “lessons learned” from this change will be critical for your government planning for the next one, five, and ten-year periods. Participants in this course will be exposed to proven efficient approaches that improve the performance and delivery of government services, create higher levels of citizen satisfaction, end bureaucratic inefficiencies, and improve fiscal responsibility and accountability.

Through presentations, case studies, roleplaying, simulated exercises and on-site meetings with experts and practitioners, participants will learn to develop their own Public Sector Management Action Plan for programs at the national (ministerial), governorate, and municipal levels.

This course content will be covered over a two - week period. Participants are responsible for attending all presentations and site visits, actively participating in discussions, case studies and group exercises, and completing a strategic action to directly facilitate changes within their organization, department, and/or team.

IP3’s team of training experts offers practical experience with top presentation skills. Participants who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
