IP3 Conducts Three-Day Course on Structuring Bankable Public-Private Partnership Concession Agreements in Indonesia

For the Center for Fiscal Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance in Indonesia, IP3 designed a three-day customized training course titled, "Structuring Bankable Public-Private Partnership Concession Agreements." This course was conducted for approximately 30 officials from MoF staff and other relevant stakeholders in Yogyakarta.

The goal of this training was to develop a full understanding of PPP contract design, structuring, negotiation, and dispute resolution. IP3 was responsible for all administrative/logistics, technical content, simulation design/delivery, and delivery of all training sessions.

Jacques Cook, Senior PPP Advisor and Lead Instructor for IP3, states "The participants in this training session were very interested in risk management and the structure of PPP contracts in allocating and managing risks. Indonesia is clearly interested in implementing an ambitious PPP program. Programs such as this will enhance that country's ability to successfully develop and execute its PPP projects."
